Q. I personally do believe Xavi Hernandez deserved to win the award since he is the Brain of what is the Barcelona team and the Spanish National team, is the best playmaker in the world. He also played a huge role when Barca won everything and when Spain won the Euro Cup and World Cup. But Messi is the best player in the world so we can't say he didn't deserve to win it. Yes I completly agree with you, Messi deserved the accolade hands down. He has been in sublime form for Barcalona over recent years and has been performing better than any other player on the planet. In the world cup he was also Argentinas best player in my opinion orchestrating many of their goals, however he was unluky not to get on the scoresheet himself.

Why do people say that Lionel Messi is better than Cristiano Ronaldo?
Q. Yes Messi is awesome but Ronaldo is the ultimate footballer right now!!! His skills are second to none and his football abilty overall appears way too advanced beyond his years. You could say the same about Messi, but come on, overall, Ronaldo is better, why don't people just admit it, yes these two players are extremely close but fact is Ronaldo is the greatest footballer in the world today. A. Messi is an INCREDIBLE player, so I don't know why anyone would hate on him. Without question one of the best right now (along side Kaká, Ibrahimovic and C. Ronaldo)

I'm in love with the guy. He does get more girls, he could get me whenever haha, He's a great player, BUT he's arrogant, his specialty: DIVING, takes all the credit from his team.
