Do you think Tony Sparano is a bad offensive coordinator for the Jets?

Q. Jets couldn't score at all against the 49ers in today's game and the offense sucked.

A. This supposed offensive line guru always has a crappy offensive line - or at least his line sucks with him around. Sporano has a "ground and pound" mentality, yet his team's can never actually "pound the football" consistently if at all. This dates back to his days as an offensive line coach in Dallas. The lone exception of his "ground and pound" scheme occured in 2008, which was the year of the wildcat. We all know what happened to the wildcat.

Here in Miami, the fans wanted his head on a platter for one thing - his ultra conservative tactics. He purposely plays to NOT lose games. If his team is down 17 to 14 and he is on the opponents one yard line, he is more than content kicking a field goal. In fact, he has a patented fist pump reserved for celebrating field goals alone!

He celebrates even the most insignificant details like forcing Miami to use a timeout because he confused them when the Tebow package was called onto the field.

Sporano has no idea how to utilize his talent either. It took almost half a season for this guy and his staff to utilize Reggie Bush correctly (by calling plays off tackle, like sweeps, tosses etc). His team drafted Pat White for a wildcat offense, but barely used him until the last game of the season in a garbage game where he was injured. His coordinator REFUSED to throw slants to the huge and physical Brandon Marshall (something you'd think a head coach would have a say in).

Finally, his time management skills are horrendous, which often led to crucial timeouts being missing during two minute offenses. How this guy ever got a job as an offensive coordinator in beyond me. Then again, I guess the "you get what you pay for" quote is true.

Should Rex Ryan be on guard when he goes to shake Tony Sparano's hand tonight after the game?
Q. After the Jets get done laying a 30 point beatdown on the Dolphins, Sparano might just lose it like Jim Schwartz. Sparano is on the hotseat so he has nothing to lose.

A. Schwartz was upset because we had a chance to go 6-0. Why would Rex Ryan be upset? You act like the Jets even have a shot at the playoffs.

Who should the Cowboys get to replace Tony Sparano?
Q. I think this is a huge loss, he has vastly improved the o-line and the offense in general since taking over play calling duties in 2006. Obviously garrett will become the play calller but who should take over the offensive line? joe bugel? hudson houck? tony wise? someone else?

A. They already got him...

The best OLine coach in the business..

Hudson Houck. He was the line coach in the Cowboys' glory days in the '90's. They'll line up and run the football and will dominate on the ground again.

How hard were the Dolphins laughing when the Jets signed Tony Sparano as offensive coordinator?
Q.

A. Probably just as hard as Brian Schottenheimer did.

Why does Tony Sparano act like he wins the Super Bowl after his team kicks a field goal?
Q. What's wrong with this guy! He looks like Tony Clifton and acts like he's 5.

A. If I had Chad Henne for a QB I'd be pretty extactic the offense comes away with ANY points.
