Should Obama agree with Bush and McCain to delay the elections until a decision has been made on the economy?

Q. Let the debates continue for the election process, let the votes be counted on passage of bill, and lets get on with our lives.

A. Regardless of which party you stand for, the answer has to be no. The economy is certainly having some issues, but delaying this debate will not resolve those issues. I think that is pretty obvious, given the situation.

At the same time, I believe a fair point was made by Barack Obama when he said that right now "the American people need to see who they are electing and how they will handle these issues as president." Having a debate is a good way to do that, and that is why the debates are scheduled. It will help us understand how the candidates intend to handle the economic issues when elected. As whoever it is, will have to face these issues going into their presidency.

Another important thing to remember, is that this debate is being held by a university. A lot of money and time has been dumped into this, which would be otherwise wasted if McCain refused to show up, or the debates postponed.

Who do you think is really pulling the strings behind Obama and McCain?
Q. George Washington, in his farewell address to the nation, warned us about the inherent danger of political parties. I know this question is going to ignite a firestorm (and I need a good laugh). Howard Dean and Carl Rove? Harry Reid and Newt Gingrich? The Roadrunner and Whil E. Coyote?

I don't want to hear any of the party lines. Americans know that there is corruption in both the Republican and the Democratic parties. The question is simple: what is your opinion on who is really pulling the strings behind Barack Obama and John McCain?

A. thats exactly the reason that i think that george washington was the best president we have ever had, i also agree that there is a lot of corrupt politicians out there, however i dont think that all politicians are corrupt, i think the reason for this little wylie coyote thing is more of the stupitidy of certain people, lets take that circus called "hannity and colmes" it seems that if hannity said the sky was blue colmes would deny it to death and vice versa, most politicans and so called "political junkies" are just idiots who see it as some sort of game

bottom line - political parties suck and people involved in them are brain dead robots whos only objective is to argue with the opposition

Why has the race to the Whitehouse become a rival between Obama and Palin?
Q. Shouldn't we be looking past race, gender, religion, abortion preference etc and look at policies, the environment and the economy?

A. You are 100% right.

We should be looking at the issues, not personalities. But, alas, we don't vote for someone in America, we vote against someone (paraphrasing Will Rogers).

Both Obama and Palin are the leaders in charisma, and that is what we look at. That's why more people watch Survivor than the evening news. That's why more people can recognize Britney Spears than can recite the Pledge of Elegance.

You wrote a great question. It's refreshing to see some thought in a question as opposed to all the bashing.

Keep up the good work.

Why does Obama want to increase the amout of Flourine in the water?
Q. It is a science proven fact that flourine is bad for you, I mean their are studies that say flourine can make you nonfertile. I don't let my family drink any tap water, so we only drink botteled water, and its' really expensive. If we do'nt fix this problem Obama will have succeded in his plan.

A. Because he's a big bad Kenyan muslim.

How come Obama can catch the christian terrorists but not the muslim terrorists?
Q. Doesn't he want to jail his own kind?

A. Why doesn't Sharks eat laywer?
