Q. I read something about the 2nd coming of the anti-Christ and significant astronomical signs and such. Oh and I'm looking for serious answers only please.
A. Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, 2 Timothy 3 and Revelation 6 all give prophetic signs:
(Matthew 24:3-14) . . .While he was sitting upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately, saying: âTell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?â 4 And in answer Jesus said to them: âLook out that nobody misleads YOU; 5 for many will come on the basis of my name, saying, âI am the Christ,â and will mislead many. 6 YOU are going to hear of wars and reports of wars; see that YOU are not terrified. For these things must take place, but the end is not yet. 7 âFor nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be food shortages and earthquakes in one place after another. 8 All these things are a beginning of pangs of distress. 9 âThen people will deliver YOU up to tribulation and will kill YOU, and YOU will be objects of hatred by all the nations on account of my name. 10 Then, also, many will be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. 11 And many false prophets will arise and mislead many; 12 and because of the increasing of lawlessness the love of the greater number will cool off. 13 But he that has endured to the end is the one that will be saved. 14 And this good news of the kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations; and then the end will come.
(2 Timothy 3:1-5) . . .But know this, that in the last days critical times hard to deal with will be here. 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, self-assuming, haughty, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, disloyal, 3 having no natural affection, not open to any agreement, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, without love of goodness, 4 betrayers, headstrong, puffed up [with pride], lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godly devotion but proving false to its power; and from these turn away.
Astronomical signs? 2nd coming of anti-christ? where did you read this? It's not in the Bible. Although the Bible does talk about anti-christs - these are all those who deliberately oppose Jesus and his teachings - they are already here.
In relation to the prophesy in Matthew 24 it talks about a great tribulation:
(Matthew 24:21) . . .for then there will be great tribulation such as has not occurred since the worldâs beginning until now, no, nor will occur again.
(Matthew 24:29) . . .âImmediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
and from the same account in Luke 21 it states:
(Luke 21:25-28) . . . âAlso, there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth anguish of nations, not knowing the way out because of the roaring of the sea and [its] agitation, 26 while men become faint out of fear and expectation of the things coming upon the inhabited earth; for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 And then they will see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 But as these things start to occur, raise yourselves erect and lift YOUR heads up, because YOUR deliverance is getting near.â

What does it mean when your period ends after having for a day and a half?
Q. Me and my boyfriend having been having sex for almost 3 months now. And my periods have been coming on time, but this month i got my period on Thursday afternoon and it was gone by Friday night. Then i did not have it at all Saturday and Sunday. Now Monday I Get It While me and my boyfriend have sex and it ends 10 minuets later? I don't know what to think, Could i be pregnant?

When i first put my makeup on in the morning i look pretty good but by the end of the day i look bad?
Q. I have mild acne and i cant get rid of it but i think i look good when i first put makeup on but then 2-3 hours later i look really bad. What can i do to fix this?
A. Apply a primer before your foundation, and add a pressed/loose powder on top. Then, spray with a setting spray like Urban Decay's All-Nighter spray or MAC Fix +. Throughout the day if you feel oily, blot your face with blotting papers like Boscia or ELF.

Is writing your notes on paper at the end of the day more effective than typing them up?

A. It depends. Sorry to start w/ a phrase that drives me nuts (I'm Psych Post Grad) but, it does depend on your 'learning style.'
Are you a visual learner, auditory, rote, (heck, I'll throw in 'intuitive' in deference to claims of some former classmates.)
You need to understand your 'learning style.'
Some learn by hearing (correction: listening), some by reading, some by hearing and then transposing, some by creating mneumonics, and some ......
It goes on .........
I, personally, am a visual. If I see it in print or manually transpose it ... it is there when I close my eyes.
Think about things you remember and why they "stick" in your mind. Do you 'let your fingers type' during lectures? You are a stenographer ... your mind is not engaged. Would focusing on making sense from your notes and putting forth the effort to make sense of them later, ...make sense .............?
I did have a 'study-buddy' in Grad School that simply had to type a synopsis of the day's notes while they were 'fresh.' Her notes were just key words and symbols - until she typed them up. Some people teased her and called her names suggesting OCD tendencies. She graduated w/ honors and was inundated with grant offers before her diploma was dry (heck, it hadn't even gone to press.)
You excel when you accept your strengths, play to your strengths, and go with the method that suits you.
You didn't need all that.
