How to dress like Brigitte Bardot?
Q. But make it a bit more modern? I love that hourglass figure, high waisted shorts, sexy but laid back style :) Please help I'm trying to give myself a fashion makeover instead of wearing jeans all the time. Also, do you ever get used to walking in heels? I feel so weird and uncomfortable in them!
A. Yes you will get used to heels, it's just a case of time and practice. Practice walking around the house in a pair of heels that you would like to wear.
In terms of Brigitte Bardot style it's available all over the place. I have no idea where you are but you can check online and see what you would like. Right now there's a lot of 50's clothes in stores such as what they wear in Mad Men which is similar to what Bardot wore. Just mix and match the skirts with an off the shoulders Bardot top, open toed heels and some bold lipstick and nail varnish. If you want to be chic Bardot then try a pair of extra tight trousers. If your comfortable with jeans then she wore a lot of really skinny jeans. You don;t have to ditch the jeans you can change the style of jeans you wear. Match that with a strappy simple top and a neck scarf. Or wear white trousers, again skinny leg.
