How to start blogging with Pay-Per-Post?

Q. Hi,

I've got my blog approved by PayPerPost.Com but have no idea how do I start blogging and submitting a post for approval.

Sorry, for the question that sounds dump. I just need an idea where can I begin.

A. The steps are:
1) register at PPP;
2) get your blog approved;
3) find sponsored post opportunities that fit your expertise, blog and experience; and
4) assuming you followed PPP's terms of service (required disclosure etc.) and the opp requirements, sponsorship payout could be expected in about 30 days.

PPP's model is very similar to eBay where PPP advertisers are similar to eBay sellers and PPP bloggers are similar to eBay buyers. PPP advertisers will create sponsorships opportunities (opps) that are listed in the PPP marketplace. PPP bloggers then browse the marketplace, choose opps of interest and blog about them in return for sponsorship compensation.

Therefore, it sounds like your next step is to review the PPP marketplace for opps of interest. Note, it can be very competitive to get opps before they are taken by others. A. Untrue. Postmasters are salaried employees and are paid based upon the size of their office.

How much per hour would you pay a photography assistant to do office and post-production work?

A. How long is a piece of string? We need loads more details, where are you? Is it a payment just for extending their photography assistant duties to include some office work too? Post production pays a lot more than a photography assistant or even a competent photographer, a good one is worth their weight in gold as they can dramatically improve your output which raises your companies profile particularly in portraiture, never skimp on PP work.

Q. On Yahoo Answers? I cant imagine anyone supporting him unless there was some serious money involved.

A. They don't get paid, they are mentally challenged and this is the best they can do. Their sources are, if you were to listen to the Rush Limbaugh radio program you would understand where some of these people get their post, they come in here with the same hate that is portrayed on that program. They actually believe it is real. Go figure that a large segment of the population can be so fooled. The only honest answer I have seen is the one that says I love Bush, she is just purely deluded.

How old do I have to be before I can be a Blogger?(Pay per post blog)?
Q. I want to be a blogger but I don't know if it is legal for a 12 year old guy. please help!

A. In the terms of service for Blogger it says "You must be at least thirteen (13) years of age to use the Service."

You may not have to be that old for other blogs though - search google for 'free blogs'

I'm managing a facebook for a business, posting 6-7 times per week. How much should I get paid per month?

Q. This is something I will be doing on the side of my full time job.
$50? $75? $100?

A. Getting paid to use facebook?

Does anyone know (approximately) how much ad networks like adsense pay you per click when you post their ads?

Q. They don't tell you on their adsense website. But if you know about how much similar ad networks pay, please do tell! I'll give you 10 points.

A. Banner ad networks such as Burstmedia or TribalFusion states clearly how much you will get paid because the price of their ads are fixed when they sell the ads to their advertisers. Most banner ad networks pay anywhere from $1-5 CPM depending on the ad format, while CPC rates are typically as low as $0.05 or $0.98 per click.

Adsense, however, does not operate that way. You cannot tell how much the cost per click of the ads in your site will be for the following reasons:

1. There is no set price that advertisers pay in Adsense -- it's a bidding system where the highest bids for the keyword are shown in your site.

2. Advertisers are allowed to target publishers they want their ads to show. And if your site is chosen by advertiser, there is a chance that they will offer a higher paying ads than the advertisers competing on a per click basis.

3. Smartpricing. Smartpricing - the big unknown in Adsense. No one knows how this actually works. But it can affect the pricing of the ads on your site. If the advertiser paid for $0.50/click - but your site is smartpriced - then the cost may be discounted lower (e.g. $0.25). So you may try to develop a site based on high paying keywords but if smartpricing gets to you, then you may not get as much per click as what you are expecting from your keywords.

If a position is posted with an hourly pay listed, and says for example $12.23 per hour base, is it negotiable
Q. This position is at a university library in the Interlibrary Loan department and is a staff position.

A. No, not negotiable. Universities have to get their funding pre-approved each year. That is the amount that position is going to pay. Not a penny more.

If a job posting mentions the exact per hour $ amount as pay, is it non-negotiable in that case?
Q. Is it OK to talk about it or is it understood that there is no way the pay can be negotiated? If it is OK, what exactly can I say, if I want to bring the pay up a notch?
(I know the salary talks start only after *they* bring up the topic)

A. There is never any harm in asking, but if it is listed as a set per hour rate chances are you will get what is posted. If you really feel you deserve more than what is offered, make sure the prospective employer knows you expect more, and the reasons why, you just might impress them enough to get the extra money. It never hurts asking.
